Birthdays, oh birthdays.

All our children were born in winter. That´s because we´re quite productive in spring. It means that from November to January, we´ll have a constant chain of celebrations, so around this time of year, my enthusiasm for cake, balloons and sweets has run pretty dry.
Yesterday, when my twins turned four, I was really looking forward to the point where all grandparents would finally go home, I could clean up all crumbs of cupcakes and clean away the coffee and start...

...the real party.
Which began quite calm and meditative...
and everyone stayed in his or her borders...
and we did some "guess what" paintings,
...and used lots of foodcoloring...
and then it got slightly wilder...
and Mehmet had the awesome idea to go for a mohawk...
And if he does, of course Ronja can´t stand back...

Even Eva, who´s such a lady, participated - at least as long as no foam would touch her hair...
and when  I started to resemble the house...
I put them all into the tub.
Where, by the way, the twins were born four years ago.
And now I´m off making invitations to their party next week. And then there´s only Eva´s party to come, and I´m through with the birthday parties for a whole ´nother year. Yay for that!  Welcome to peace and calm in our house... um... or not :)
I´m not posting any music today. I´m keeping it all to myself :)
