Blogging is so beautiful - do you want a gift?

I just had to tell you how much I love that everybody´s pouring in here. It really feels like digiscrapping connects the world, and it´s a great thought knowing that there are women out there, everywhere in the world, who share my hobby. Also thank you very much for your sweet comments!

Kenandbelly used my laundry template in a very creative way, look what she did with it:

I hadn´t thought about stuffing elements into the baskets, but it looks so cool I´ll copy it.

What I´d also like to copy from hers was the idea of sending a random handmade present to the first 5 people to comment on this post and offering this on their own blog: Have a look at her post here. My restrictions and limitations are pretty much the same as hers, too, I might send something to you, but I also might make something digital, or write something, or whatever. It´s a surprise!
But for now, and everybody, there is a freebie:

(Kids in the preview are not included *lol*)

Get the frames here!

I made these acrylic frames a week ago, but I´m not perfectly content with them: I think they look good on portraits or close ups, but on photos with many small details, like shots of a group or a room, I don´t like how they seem to "cut" into the picture. But however, they are free :-)

Surprise for me, surprise for you :-)

Actually, I didn´t intend to post again today, but as it happened, the wedding album I orderd about 3 weeks ago did just arrive, and I couldn´t stop myself from sharing my collection with you:

There are still two books missing on the picture, because I gave them to an aunt who´s learning how to digiscrap, and she wanted some inspiration.
I started printing photobooks 3 years ago, and my goal is to make one book a year for each one of my 4 kids (well, I only succeeded with that plan for the girl´s books, the boys still have to wait...), and I´m making books to capture our vacations, too. Until now, I got them printed at Fotobuch, that´s a german printer, and I´ve always been content with them. For our wedding book, I used Artscow, as they offered the 12x12 size, which is, as far as I know, not available in Germany. This is how the book looks from inside:

I was a little too cautious with the bleed area, so now I have a thin white strip on every page, but apart from that, it turned out lovely - and you live, you learn.

So that was the surprise for me... now onto the surprise for you, which is a new template:

I thought this was a neat idea for p365, as I´m doing laundry really every day, and I had lots of fun drawing those baskets. They look cool when you fill them with a neutral beige or cream paper, but I guess, everything else will be fine, too.

Due to these rumours about viruses being spread via 4shared, I decided to change from 4shared to box.net. I haven´t experienced anything bad with 4shared so far, but better save than sorry. So, go to your save box.net download
here

Oh, and when will I get to see a layout with my stuff? I´m excited to see what all you people from literally everywhere on the planet do with my stuff :-)

My new Layouts this week, and your freebie template.

Do you also have the feeling that p365 makes you neglect your other scrapping? I do, and so I really tried hard last week to get some layouts done. I managed to finish these three, so I´m quite happy with me, and I won´t have to do everything in the end of the year, to have the books ready for their birthdays in November and December :-)

I used digitreats shout kit and digitreats year in review template on this one.

This one was made with Cherry Mokka kit from digicrap.ch

And for this one credits go to digiscrap.ch again, this time their symhony-ballet dream kit. The triple frame on the right is from somewhere else, but I just can´t find where I got it from, so, if it was you who made it, please tell me.

But Project 365 is still going on, too, of course, and I promised you to give you a template, too. I wanted it to look playfull, like building blocks being stapled, and I wanted it to have lots of journaling space and place for both vertical and horizontal pictures, so, here it is:

Download here

And this is my week 8 with it:

But you don´t have to use it with a black backgroung *lol* That´s just me, as I like it dark and plain and conservative :-) But I really would enjoy seeing your colorfull versions with it. Feel free to post in the comments section!

Alaaf to everybody, and a classic freebie.

Alaaf! Have some confetti thrown on you!

First of all: Thank you!!!
It´s so great reading all your sweet comments, it´s so great seing where in the world you all come from, and it´s the highest appreciation I could get for my work! And being listed by IkeaGodesses was an honour, too :-)))

Today carneval really begins in our area, though we started celebrating on monday already, today we had the big parties in school and kindergarten, and even my husband is off from work and costumed. Alaaf is what everybody is shouting here, it´s like "Ho, ho, ho" on christmas, I think. I love carneval, though I never thought I would, but with children it´s really funny. Look at these cute pics:

My twins, costumed as tigers, well, Miro didn´t like it for long, but I´m glad to have this shot;

Ronja, the sunfairy, I made this costume myself, but it didn´t really turn out the way I wanted it - I wanted the skirt to be much wider, and I didn´t have the time to put all the details on I planned;

And then Eva, with her Hogwarts Robe I sew myself, and the self knitted Gryffindor scarf, I love how her costume turned out. She wanted to be Hermione Granger, and it so suited her :-)

But before I forget: I guess you´re here for the freebie :-) I promised you to re-upload the old template a lot of you really liked, it was my first on, and most downloaded one, and the 4shared link was down, due to my inactivity... (sorry...).

That´s why I call it "Classic": It´s an old one from last august :-)

So, here it is, a template to capture on complete day in the life of your child (or you, or someone else), available with english or german wordart.

Download English version
Download German version

Thanks again for stopping here, and come back, because there will be a new p365 template on monday again, and I´ve got some acrylic frames, too! :-)

My new template for P365!

So, here it is:

Download here

And here is what I made with it:

The papercuts are from Elli Lash´s Jacob Kit, which I really do like because of it´s beautiful color scheme, and the frames are from me, you can still grab them when you scroll down.

I got this new application on the left, that shows me where my vistors come from, and I saw that some of you were led here by a link to a freebie from last august, a template, that is not available anymore on 4shared. I´m going to search my harddrive for it, and when I find it, I´m gonna post a new link, ok?

Oh, and if you use any of my desings, I´d really love to see, and to display here, so, come on and let me have a look ;-)

Who´s that?

Do you know Fimo? I think it´s polymere clay in english, but I´m not sure. My mum used to work with it a lot when I was little, but I completey forgot about it the last 15 years or so. Now a friend of mine just came up with it, so I thought I´d try it myself again. Aren´t these cute? I hope you are able to recognize them, in case you´re not, it´s Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. They are about 5cm high each, and they took me about three hours for both. I plan to make them a tiny Ronald Weasly, too, and then Edward and Bella Cullen, but I´m not sure about that.

And I won´t neglect my scrapping business :-) Be sure to be back tomorrow, when there´ll be a template here for you.

Wordart for you!

Man, this is a weather. We´re having really heavy snowstorms here, so we hardly dare going out to do our daily shopping. But well, with all kids but Eva being ill with a cold, we rather stay at home and have it nice and cosy, and I guess, considering the horrible bushfires in Australia, there´s no need for me to complain about the weather.

Well, being at home leaves me with extra time to scrap, so I made a wordart for you. I read this saying more than two years ago on a website I can´t remember, but with project 365 going on, I found it very suitable and wanted to make a wordart from it all the last weeks. So, here it is:

Download here!

Enjoy, and leave your love if you like :-) Oh, and come back on monday, there´ll be a doublesided template!

P 365 Week 6, plus a freebie!

Here´s my layout for week 6:

I used Template 4 by Moriginals, Paper Circles from classic paper pack by Monica Evan, fasteners by Weeds and Wildflowers Life 365 and Labels by me, you can grab them for free when you scroll down :-)

I begin to find out that I love long journaling, and my p365 book becomes more and more a diary. I´m really looking for templates that leave me lots of journaling space.

Well, anyway, for this weeks I made me some frames, and to share them with you, I made an english version as well as a german version. Each frame is slightly different this time, with varios fasteners, and I´ve left some space on the polaroid border for you to write the date onto. Here we go:

Get the frames here!

Oh, and thanks for the many comments and download of my labels last week - you really make me proud! :-)

I finally finished our wedding album! Yeah!

I´ve been planning to digitalize and digiscrap our wedding pics for quite a long time now, (We´ve been married for 8 years this year...) but as I received a free credit for a photobook 12x12 a couple of months ago, this was the final impulse I needed.
So I spent the last days finishing that book, whilst listening to the Harry Potter Audio books (I told you that Potter-Madness rules at this house at the moment :-) ).

I ordered it today, and I can´t wait to hold it in my hands. If you´d like to see it, here´s my favourite page, and you can click here to have a look at the complete album.

Page was done with Chery Mokka by DigScrap.ch and Wordart "Happy" by MaryAnn Wise for Everyday Inspiration Challenge.
