Our green weekend in Münster.

So, we just came back from Münster, my husband´s former hometown, where we visited my in-laws. Münster is, and has always been, a pretty cool and green city, with beautiful gardens, fresh air and an immense amount of mad cyclists driving with an enorme speed. I see that especially now, after living in quite an urban, industrial region. So, we took our kids to the botanical garden. We were lucky to catch the few dry minutes this weekend offered, as it was pouring bucketloads of rain for most of the weekend. But when we were out, the sun was shining, though that doesn´t mean all of us stayed dry: I mean, guess why he´s wearing a miniature T-Shirt my mother in law originally wanted to give away to charity, instead of the white shirt shirt his brother´s wearing on the pic above :-) But that little feather just had to be saved from the water. Ronja, sucker for all things botanical and also for all things Harry Potter related was thrilled to find real "Dianthus". For all of you who happen not to be complete Harry Potter geeks, in book four Dianthus is used to help Harry breath underwater to fullfill a task for the trimagical tournament. I know you didn´t ask. But hey, this is my blog :-) So, we found out that Dianthus is nothing more than the botanical word for carnation. I still had to stop Ronja from chewing it and jumping into the pond. And myself as well, to be honest. So, Münster was, again, quite beautiful. We filled the weekend chilling, meeting old friends and relatives and enjoying the lovely city, and now all kids are put to bed, and we´ll follow them soon. School starts tomorrow, and I have to get up pretty early to get them all dressed and prepared and walk them to school, and Tim won´t be there to help me, as he´s heading to Berlin tomorrow. In a few hours, actually. So, I´ll leave you with some sweet music for today: I like this. I mean, I know it is a little pathetic. And I don´t really care for the singer, though I also like bush. The band, I mean. But how, how could I resist three longhaired, wellbuilt, shirtless finnmen wearing make up and playing the cello? Not one cello, but I see at least two, and I think Apocalyptica normally has three cellists? All banging their long hair? I mean, come on. I think this officially qualifies as girl porn :-)

Your pics are beautiful. I can see why you like that place.

Not sure why my button won't work. I heard from one that she got it to work. Go to Design, add a gadget, then HTML/Java Script...

Copy link from sidebar on my blog in box beneath smile picture. Then paste it into your HTML box.

Let me know if it still doesn't work. K?

Thanks for joining the smile crusade!
