Last week...

I read this book. My friend Steffie gave it to me because she saw some similarities, and, well, she was right :-) I mean, the family I come from wasn´t that bad. They weren´t exactly the ordinary, tidy, loving and caring parents, but we never had to starve. But still, this book felt a lot like reading my own biography. It made me both laugh and cry, because it faced me with so many episodes of my childhood and traits of my character it felt almost unreal.
Then, on Sunday...We found this sprinkler in a park close to our old neighbourhood. We went there on Sunday afternoon, and the kids are all dressed up because we also dressed up, to dance some nice Jive and Slowfox: Yeah, see that dark spot on the left side? I managed to wreck my camera again. And, please, better focus on that dark spot, because I look indeed like some scary witch. But I wanted an occasion to wear that feather headband, so... well... It was our plan to dance, but due to that awesome sprinkler and all kids being soaked within five minutes, this didn´t happen. But a girl can dream...
I´m taking a break from writing my second book, so I like to keep my hands busy, and the summerholidays give me lots of free time and space to fill, which is nice. The outcome is tons of stuff I made with my kids, and I´ll show you... um... tomorrow. Because right now, I´m off to see my friend and watch Remember Me. And convince the rest of my family that we really don´t need to adopt a cat.
My music for today is Lifehouse: Did I tell you I´ve got tickets to see them? On October second? Woo-hoo!
Oh, and I have this new gadget on the left, thanks to Glen. He has awesome pictures on his blog, by the way. So, now this gadget is there, You are invited to use it. Yeah, you. Feel my finger pointing to your chest. Or, you know, you could just write me, mystery user from Münster, surfing with Safari :-)
