Life 365 - week 5

Before it get´s lost - this is my week 5. I´m not too happy with the layout, or at least not happy enough to make a template from it. I do like the bright colors, though - yet, these are not mine, but again from Pam from digitreats. They so matched my photos this week.
Apart from that, I spent the whole day sewing. I ruffeled three metres of red satin and gathered them around a crioline, and that involves a lot more physical work than I had excepted. I´m not yet ready to post the finished results, but I plan to finish all costumes for Saturday - so you´ll get to see something until then.
And now I´m off to the teacher´s conference, leaving the twins in the professional supervision of their sisters (and, ahem, shame on me - Bob the builder) for an hour, because my husband is doing some work for his green party again. It´s a good thing the school is five minutes away from our home.

Nope, I didn´t forget to take my daily picture. Only I almost forgot to post my weekly layout. And I didn´t make a template from it. But guess what? Meredith from Moriginals is back on the wagon, again, too - seems I wasn´t the only one who missed this project in 2010. She´s got a template on her blog, so just head over to her and say hi :)

It´s so cool to meet you all again - Paula, or melissa, or Crissie. It´s got a certain beauty to know you´re all somewhere out there, living your daily lives, nothing extraordinary, you might be at some place I´ve never seen and will never see in my whole life, but we share bits of our lives with each other. Did I mention I really like the internet? Best invention ever, probably.

So? How are your New Year´s resolutions going? Still busy taking pictures? I am. :) No, I´m not being smug. Not at all. Here´s my weekly layout: 

 

This week, I chose a style slightly different than the last two weeks, just to give it a try. I still used digitreat´s

backround paper, but for the rest, I chose from the various kits I´ve stored on my harddrive like a hamster, so please don´t ask me. Though, I remember the cardboard blocks were from Weeds and Wildflowers.

365 - Week One. And a template for you.

I guess you know about Project 365? It´s all over the net, as it has been, I guess, every january for the last couple of years. I know some of you post their photos on their blog, or at Flickr. Some keep them to them selves, which is probably the most resonable option. I´m not like this. I´m scrapping a mighty fine layout, journaling my whole life into it, and putting it on my blog. Sigh. But here it is:

 

Credits for the  pretty colored papers go to Pam from digitreats, who, apparently, after a long break, took up her designing work, again, too. Man, if we now only could convince Angie from Ikea godess to come back... sigh.... Again.

I figure this was on the soundtrack to P.S. I love you? Well, I haven´t read that book, neither have I seen that movie. I always thought it was too romantic for my liking. But thinking about it - what could really be too romantic for a woman with a Twilight-tattoo on her left shoulder? Huh? However, this song is one to make my feet bounce, one to make me remember the times I spend my Saturday nights twirling in a pub to some nice folk :)
